Hi,
How do members renew the subscription plan themselves after expiration? And how to change the message to restricted content for them instead of just ‘This content is restricted for you membership level’

Members can renew if they visit a page which has the [pms-subscriptions] shortcode setup.
The messages can be customized globally by going to Paid Members Subscriptions -> Settings -> Content Restriction.
You can also check the Enable Custom Messages checkbox to setup a specific message only for that post/page.Let me know if this has worked for you !
