Exclude Current Post Not Working As Intended

Hi Bill,

Thank you making and maintaining this wonderful plugin.

I am experiencing problem with Exclude Current Post feature and it does not hide the current post and instead hides the wrong post that is not current.

E.g.

https://securitygladiators.com/who-is-yify/ is also showing itself in the sidebar. It is excluding another post from the same category https://securitygladiators.com/what-does-yify-stand-for/

Here is the shortcode used for the sidebar

[display-posts exclude_current="true" category="yify" transient_key="yify_sidebar_posts" transient_expiration="21600"]

I have checked a lot in the support forum and did not find a solution to this problem. Can you please help?
