Excellent plugin, lightweight and feature-rich

I recently installed Honest Analytics on a WordPress site and I am very impressed with its simplicity and the amount of useful data it provides.

The plugin is lightweight, the data stays on the website, and the interface is clean and easy to understand. I particularly like the Hybrid tracking mode, which provides detailed analytics without relying on an external analytics service.

Another major advantage is that it works well in a setup where the WordPress REST API is intentionally disabled for logged-out visitors, thanks to the Plain URL collection endpoint.

The available statistics are comprehensive: visits, page views, sessions, sources, browsers, operating systems, devices, and more, while remaining much simpler than a heavy analytics solution.

The plugin is still relatively new, but it already shows a lot of potential. Development appears active, and the configuration options provide good control over data retention and privacy.

A very good discovery. I will definitely continue using and testing it.
