• Hi,

I’m looking for a way to simplify the task of updating my events, teams and player statistics.

Currently I have soccer events that I can update in the events itself. When I do I see on my league table the updates. Games played, points, win ….

After updating those stats, I have to go in my player list (I have 2 because I’m managing 2 soccer leagues). I have 200+ players and I have manually update Games, goals, yellow and red cards. It’s honestly too long and I’m sure I can have to work differently.

Here’s what would be the best:

In an event if I could have the players for each team and add personnal statistics like games played, goals and yellow red cards, it would be just perfect.

Or maybe you could give some advice, that would be great!

    Thanks,

    Hi @malef113,

    Thanks for your question.

The event performance should be reflected directly in player lists and profiles. When editing an event, do you see a section called “Player Performance”, and are there columns for each statistics (Goals, Yellow cards, Red cards, etc)?

If not, please go to SportsPress > System Status and paste the output below, using the “code” button. I’d be happy to help you set things up to work automatically.

    Hi,

I just realized what was the problem by looking at your post!

    Thanks,

I need help for another thing linked to my previous problem.

I would like to erase some satistics in a player list but the number is gray and I can’t update it.

How can I do that? It seems that statistics are prioratize, is that real?

    Here’s the system report:

    Hi again!

The statistics in player lists are taken automatically from player profiles, then from events. A grey value means that the number is calculated automatically. You can override each statistic manually by entering a different value into the fields where you see grey values.

The priority for player list statistics are:

    1. Manual input via the Player List (black)
    2. Manual input via each Player profile (grey)
    3. Calculated from equations using sums of Events attended (grey)

I hope this makes sense 🙂

Thanks for your previous answers, it makes a lot of sense!

    I have two other questions:

    1. I would like to use the function “starting lineup and sub” to update, or not, the numbers of match a player plays. This feature is in all my events but for some reason when I add players to an event and click update they are not updating the numbers of games. Note that I’m not addind a game manually.

    2. For some dark reason I have two players (always the same two) having a game played. I’ve tried to locate where could be the bug, but can’t find it. Next I’ve tried two remove and recreate the 2 players. First it seems okay and when I go back the next day they have a game played!! (http://www.lssm.ca/joueurs/)

    Thanks for your help

    1. The events played (“Nb partie”) is the sum of all events that player attended where a) Status is “Starting Lineup” or b) Status is “Substitute” and a substitution was made. If no substitute is selected, then that event will not count towards the player’s total events. Also, the event will only count if there is an “Outcome” selected for that player’s team, and the event date has passed.

    2. I’m not sure why this is happening, but it looks like the plugin isn’t active on that site anymore. A possible reason would be that they are both added to an event (in the future) and when the day switches, the event counts toward events played?

    Hi,

For some reason, I have teams who gets the right games played an other who as none played. There is for each an outcome to the game and the date passed. The correct status wich is “starting lineup” or “substitute” is selected…

Do I have to have a formula for games played?

Could it be a translation problem with WPML?

If I would give you acces would you mind to take a look at it?

    Thanks,

@malef113 I’d be happy to look at it for you. Could you please send me a ticket on http://support.themeboy.com/anonymous_requests/new (select “Other” as the “Department” so that it goes straight to me) Thanks!
