• I am trying to setup Jetpack by WordPress.com, but a message keeps on displaying. The message is:

Error Details: The Jetpack server could not communicate with your site’s XML-RPC URL. Please check to make sure http://mydomainname.com/xmlrpc.php is working properly. It should show ‘XML‑RPC server accepts POST requests only.’ on a line by itself when viewed in a browser and should not have any blank links or extra output anywhere.

Could someone please tell me how I can fix this problem? I can’t setup Jetpack because this message keeps on displaying.

That’s most likely what’s causing the issue. Jetpack uses your site’s XML-RPC file to communicate with WordPress.com. If your maintenance plugin blocks access to that file, it will also block Jetpack from communicating with WordPress.com.

Once the XML-RPC file becomes available, you should be able to start using Jetpack.

I hope this clarifies things a bit.
