    Hi,

I have just finished a small e-commerce store for a client and with certain products an error message appears when I try adding items to the cart:
invalid value posted for scent (attribute)

Ive tried with elementor but they have said that the issue is with WooCommerce.

Please help I almost ready to hand over this site.

    Many thanks

    Hi @kayleighmac10!

The file you shared is not visible to us.
Please make it viewable to everyone so we can check. Here is how to do that.

    Hi @kayleighmac10 !

Can you please head to the site and create one product manually? Once you have done that please head to Products > All Products and export it so that you can have a template based on which you will be able to add the other products.

At a first sight the shared file does not look wrong however, please try what I described above and let us know how it goes?

    Thank you!

That’s what I did here. I deleted all products, added this one manually and the error was still appearing and then exported the info to you

    Hi there,

the scent Om currently does this

Thank you for the CSV. I’ve imported the variable product on one of my test sites and added to the cart the variation “Om- sandalwood, amber, camomile and sweet orange”. It seems all is working fine and I get the green message of the product being successfully added to the cart, as you can see here:

I’m not sure what’s going on but it appears to be related to your specific setup. Can you make sure all your software is up to date? Then, retry with only WooCommerce core and the default Storefront enabled and see how it goes. Make sure you have a backup in place before updating your software.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I have already done all of this, I have updated, removed plugins, I have even started a new site on a temporary domain to rebuild this site, and yet again I have just added all the variations and it is still doing it, this time on “spiritual awakening”.

This is causing me so much stress as I do not know what is wrong nor how to fix it!

    Hi @kayleighmac10

Can you also share the temporary domain? Please make sure that only the storefront theme and WooCommerce are activated. You’ll need to deactivate Elementor too.

Here it is, I selected spiritual awakening

Sorry for the back and forth, It means the database was updated as well? Correct?

Can you please go to WooCommerce > status > tools > and clear the transients? Does this make a difference? Let us know.

Cleared the transients, error still shows

    Hi there,

Can you please share the last available system status for your site http://missm42.sg-host.com? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Thanks.
