• I keep getting this message over and over – many lines of it – when I open widgets.

    Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$post_status in /home1/aauwpres/public_html/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 1433

    I can scroll down past it to get to widgets, but I don’t know how to find and resolve this error. Line 1433 on my theme – twenty-twelve – is only this: color: #aaa;

    As far as I know I don’t have a page titled “home1”

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    I followed the above suggestion and found that the source of the problem is the free version of the Jetpack plugin. I only use that plugin to get the site statistics and could live without it, but it would be better to get it fixed. I have tried deactivating, reactivating and going thru their setup process again, but it didn’t help.

    Please ask at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/ so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.
