Error installing Orbit Fox Plugin

    Hello.
    Im having trouble to install Orbit Fox (2.0.1) plugin in my Zerif Lite theme. It says there is a syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM on themeisle-companion.php on line 40.

    My PHP is 5.6

    What should I do to solve this?

    I have the same problem, it does not let me activate it because I always get the same error

    I just updated the zerif theme and tried to install Orbit fox 2.5.7 plugin but get this error message

    Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Rest_Controller’ not found in /storage/content/89/166889/julfest.nu/public_html/wp-content/plugins/themeisle-companion/vendor/codeinwp/themeisle-content-forms/class-themeisle-content-forms-server.php on line 9

    My website is crashed, help!!

    similar problem here:
    I’ve updated to Orbit Fox Companion v2.6.3 and got a Server-Error 500.
    Via FTP I opened a errorlog-file:
    [Tue Oct 30 22:08:37.108701 2018] [proxy_fcgi:error] [pid 29869:tid 140473070774016] 91.119.134.254 AH01071: Got error ‘PHP message: PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /data/www/username/web/mydomain.at/wp/wp-content/plugins/themeisle-companion/obfx_modules/image-cdn/init.php on line 44n’

    So I renamed the whole directory “themeisle-companion” into “_themeisle-companion” and my homepage works (but without those menue-icons)…

    Theme used GeneratePress

    I just updated the plugin on my local machine before taking the project to the official website and it is giving error in my home page
