Hi @scram, thanks for reaching out and no bother at all. If you’d like to share the below, we can hopefully determine the cause and ensure this no longer occurs:
- Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
- When trying setup from a Chrome browser incognito window does the same occur? If so, please share any browser console errors that appear.
- Are you able to complete setup when following the troubleshooting steps here?
Once we have the above, we can advise on this further. Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Thank you.
Form sumbitted.
Thank’s for you help@scram Thanks a lot! I will take a look through your site health now and if you could let me know about points 2 and 3 also that would be great!

My install is a WP network
I do not have the ‘troubleshoot’ option
Neither in network dashboard nor in the main site@scram Thank you for sharing the additional information. You mention above that you are running a WordPress network install. Site Kit does not fully support network setups at this time so this is likely the reason why you are running into these issues when trying to set up Site Kit.
We have had requests for full network mode support for Site Kit and have an open Github issue for this. Feel free to add your comments to this issue. At this time, full network support isn’t on the horizon so I can’t give you any promises that this will be supported in the near future.
We do make the team aware of each request for any feature that is raised in the forum and this includes network setup compatibility. That being said, there are many other plugin features, enhancements and adjustments that may take priority. We also conducted surveys to find that most of our users operate single sites, and engage with our users when determining the most requested features.
Note also that while the plugin doesn’t provide full support for network setups, users can set up Site Kit individually on a multisite network, or even on a network if the sites within this network are independent sites of each other (see this comment from a related GitHub issue).
If there’s anything additional you’d like to share here about your setup that may help us to understand your needs better then please do share here. If you have any questions on the above please let me know also and I will be happy to answer those for you.
@adamdunnage I fully understand that’s it not a priority for all reasons you mentionned above.
It seems in my case it doesn’t work better when Sitekit is activated only in a single site.
We will handle the stats directly in the Google Console.
I really appreciated your time involded to provide some assistance here.
Thank you again and have a nice one.@scram No problem at all and you too!
