Error 503 – kind of

    My dear WordPress comunity,

    after editing some pictures (adding some description) my blog only shows the 503 error. But I still can login in my Dashboard. Even if I try to reach certain pagees of the blog like https://blog.indienaustausch.de/en (for the English version) it seems to work.

    I tried to reach different postings using the tagcloud. Sometimes I can see the article, sometimes I get the 503 error.

    Of course I tried to deactivate the plugins and reinstalled WordPress 4.9. What else can I do?

    I am still not sure what happened, but it the NextGenGallery plugin is somehow involved. Deactiviating only that plugin helped. Deactivating all plugins didn’t help.

    Site is online again, but without pictures. But I hope I can fix that.

    I recommend reporting the issue at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/nextgen-gallery so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

    Problem solved. The plugin has its problems with php 7.1 and 7.0. Downgrading php to 5.6 helped a lot. Everything is running smoothly now.
