Erro when user cancel subscribe

    I configured PMPro and am using paypal test environment (sandbox).

    The usurer signs up, chooses subscription and make payment. Until then it is all right, but when he clicks cancel your account, returns an error as described below:

    Invalid profile status for cancel action; profile Should be active or suspended. Please contact the site owner or cancel your subscription from within PayPal to make sure you are not charged going forward.

    I already deactivated some plugins, plus the error still remains, I read here in the forum that could be the add-on mailchimp also deactivated and removed and the message remains.

    What can it be?

    If you are using PayPal Standard, make sure you also put in the PayPal Express API information in the payment settings (save and then switch back to PayPal Standard).

    PayPal Standard doesn’t have a method to cancel via the API, but PayPal Express does.

    Then also note that PayPal won’t let sites cancel things through the API in certain situations… e.g. if the payment hasn’t cleared yet since you are cancelling immediately after checking out.

    So we show this message to have the user manually check that their subscription is cancelled. Admins should get a similar email about it.
