Hi –
Thanks for getting in touch. Which version of Jetpack do you have installed? It’s great you’ve already ruled out other plugin conflicts.
Next, I’d suggest making sure the problem doesn’t lie with the theme in use. Try using a default WordPress theme to rule that out.

Hi,
I disabled my current theme and activated the Twenty-Twenty theme, but alas, I still get the mixed content error.
Can I look anywhere else?
Erwin
Thanks for that, Erwin. Could you also confirm that your site uses https for both WordPress Address and Site Address? You can check that in WP-admin:
Settings > General.
Also, this happens only with the comments enabled, correct? Do any of the comments on that particular post contain an image?
Hi,
Yes I can confirm both sites have valid ssl certificates installed and WordPress Address and Site Adrress are both https://apoplife.nl.
Error is generated on all posts where comments are open, even if there no comments made yet. Images are not a part of my comments.
https://apoplife.nl has the jetpack comments enabled (and thus generates the error).
https://en.apoplife.nl had the jetpack comments disabled (and works just fine).
Regards,
Erwin
Hmm, could you please reach out via https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support so we can have a closer look? Thanks!
Thank you so much to the Jetpack team! My account had to be resynched as the settings on the Jetpack side weren’t the way they should be.
After the resync everything works like a charm again. No more mixed content errors!
Thank you!

On both my sites enabling the Jetpack comments results in the mixed content error. Both my sites have valid SSL certficates installed.
On https:apoplife.nl the error is:
“Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://apoplife.nl/’ was loaded over a secure connection, but contains a form that targets an insecure endpoint ‘https://1572140558.9115/wp-comments-post.php’. This endpoint should be made available over a secure connection.”
On https://en.apoplife.nl the error is:
“Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://en.apoplife.nl/’ was loaded over a secure connection, but contains a form that targets an insecure endpoint ‘https://1578956452.7784/wp-comments-post.php’. This endpoint should be made available over a secure connection.”
Even after diabling all plugins except Jetpack the error is generated.
I have disabled the comments for now as I don’t want the mixed content error. Could you please give me some guidance ads to what causes this.
