Hi there, i’m getting an empty images selector box when trying to insert an featured image in any post, even existing ones.

In other words, when i click “Featured Image”, the box that usually pops up is showing no images at all, no options, nothing!!!. It just show the box title (“featured image”) and an disabled button “Set featured image”.

    Anyone with a possible solution?

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site. See this help guide for using the Health Check plugin: https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/appendix/troubleshooting-using-the-health-check/

Great!!!, i applied the Health Check plugin, and worked in the Troubleshooting mode, disabled all plugins and test them one by one.

At the end of the excersice, i identified the Orbit Comapanion plug in was the one causing the problem, so i disabled, and gallery started working again.

Actually the tool also allowed me to identify all the things i don’t really need and now i’m uninstalling them.

Thanks a lot for the recommendation!!!
