Hello csvacina,
Thank you for using our plugin!
1. Lets try a few troubleshooting techniques. On the “Email” tab make sure the options “Send user email upon completion?” and “Send admin email upon completion?” are both set to “Yes”. Also, try and change the email for the question: “What emails should we send the admin email to? Separate emails with a comma.” to something different. How many emails do you have set up in the “Email” tab? Lastly, check to make sure you have the option “Should we ask for users email?” set to “Require” or “Yes” in the “Options” tab.
2. The Quizzes are actually posts. Some themes automatically display those two buttons at the bottom of posts. You have to customize the theme to remove those. In most themes, the file that you will have to edit is single.php. In most themes that will remove the links from all posts. To remove just the buttons for quiz posts you will have to create a custom file for just Quizzes. The custom file in most themes should be single-quiz.php. Thank you for your speedy response!
1. On the email tab I have set both user and admin email upon completion to yes. I am only using 1 email and I have changed it to my personal email account. I have set “Should we ask for users email” to require and still it is not sending emails to either the user or the admin.
2. I will have our web creator customize the theme so that those buttons are removed. Thank you for the link.
What do you think is the underlying cause of the email problem? Do you think it’s an issue with the theme we have set up?
Hello csvacina,
How many templates do you have set up on the “Emails” tab? How many different emails do you have setup to send to the Admin? How many different emails do you have set up to go to the user emails?
Also, de-activate all other plugins, does your problem still persist?
If that solves the problem, re-activate your plugins one at a time and test if the problem re-appears. If so, let us know which plugin caused it.
I’m just using the default template on the Emails tab. I only have 1 email set up to send to Admin and 1 email to go to user emails.
I’ll check with the web creator if we have any other plugins but as far as I know the only plugin we have right now is the Quiz Master Next. I will ask for them to reinstall Quiz Master Next and hopefully that will solve the problem.
I will let you know if this solves the problem.
Thank you,
-Corina
