There is no option by default in wordpress. However this can be achieved through plugins.

I know that there is a way to send an email to yourself whenever you get a new comment. Then you can reply to their comment by email. But, what I am wondering is, how do I get those replys, the ones I sent by email to get back onto the blog..any ideas?

Is there an option within WordPress to send out an email notification to the comment poster when his comment gets replied to?
Or do I need to get a plugin for it? If so, can anyone recommend a lite plugin?

I did try 2 up-to-date ones which didn’t work…
I tried a 6 year old plugin (comment reply notification) and works great.
