For the email issue,You could check the send email functionality on your WordPress. To do this, install the plugin called Check Email by Chris Taylor which you can find here https://wordpress.org/plugins/check-email/ or you can search for it from your Add New page in your Plugins menu.
Once installed, the plugin will add a new Check Email page to the Tools menu. Go to that page, enter your email address in the “Send test email to” field and then click “Send Test Email” Leave the other settings at the default. If you don’t receive the email, then the issue is with your WordPress email settings, you could contact your hosting provider for possible solutions. Once finished, feel free to de-activate and delete the Check Email plugin.
As for the scoring, it’s not available for open text answers.
I’m Having the same issue. I did all of the tests mentioned above with no effect. I tried having it submit to various email address and none of them would receive. The server can send emails just fine. Contact form 7 and gravity form work fine.
