Ecommerce Value not transmitted
-
Hi,
I downloaded 3 years ago your json file to implement the GA4 parameters and using it since then successfully for the GA4 ecommerce data. Since a few months ago, starting in July, I am facing a problem at Google Ads tracking.
The ecommerce data (out of the dataLayer) is only been transmitted for google analytics (GA4) successfully. Specifically the ecommerce value is shown in google analytics (GA4). Parallel I’m using Google Ads Tracking and using Preview at the tagmanager, the tag is fired. But since July, only the Google ads conversions were counted, but I couldn’t see the generated revenue any more. That meant to me, that the Conversion ID and label were set correctly, but the other parameter had to be changed to the new GA4 parameters.
After changing in September the ecommerce variables from UA {{TransactionTotal}} and {{TransactionId}} to GA4 variable {{Ecommerce value}} and {{Ecommerce Transaction ID}} at Google Ads Tracking, I thought I changed everything properly from the UA datalayer variables to the new GA4 data layer variables. Unfortunately I still couldn’t see the revenue at Goolge Ads and therefore I deleted last week the not longer needed UA-tag, -events and -ecommerce data layer variables. But even today, no revenue is shown at Google Ads. Do you have an idea, why ecommerce value is still not shown at Google Ads and what I have may overseen?
