Double opt-in vs. Hotmail

Started a contest today. 60 entries were submitted and 50 were 100% completed through the double opt-in. Out of the 10 non-completed, 8 are from hotmail email addresses. I’ve had some of the hotmail email adresses’ owners who reported that they did not get the double opt-in confirmation email and that it was not in their spam folders.
