Doesn't seem to work with custom URLs.

This doesn’t seem to work with custom urls. I’ve set it all up on bit.ly and the custom url shows up in the wordpress bit.ly drop-down menu, but the url used in the shared posts is defaulting to j.mp.
It also breaks facebook open graph code. The debugging tool returns this:
