Doesn't load mp3 metadata title, caption and description.

    Hi. Thanks for this great plugin.
    I need to upload a huge amount of audio files, and I’ve been doing some testing.
    • When I upload files with WordPress Media Library, all metadata is preserved, and this reflects on WordPress playlists and downloads.
    • When I upload files with FTP and then use Add From Server to load them on WordPress Media Library, the metadata is lost.
    How can I get the metadata loaded? I need at least the title! Any suggestion on this?

    It sounds like the plugin probably isn’t running one of the metadata extraction functions.
    As the plugin was mostly written 8 years ago prior to most of that functionality being built in to WordPress, it wasn’t aware it needed to.

    Unfortunately I don’t expect the plugin to be updated to support that any time soon, if the browser upload functionality works, I would highly suggest using that rather than FTP plugins.
