    I have activated Laz Load and it seems to be working fine on the desktop version of m website. However, when I run Goole SpeedInsight, it says “Defer offscreen images” to sae 2.55s.

    I am wondering if Laz Load works in mobile version? Did I get m setting wrong?

  • @bkingids,

    Are you using AMP for mobile pages?
    Could you please share your site URL so I can test?

    Best regards,

    @bkingids,

    I don’t see that Smush lazy loading is enabled at all. There seems to be some other plugin doing lazy loading, or it could be your theme. lazy-load-active is not a class from Smush. Please make sure that all other lazy load plugins are disabled so it doesn’t cause conflicts.

    It must have been disabled by my async plugin.

    I have tried to fix it. Does it seem to function normally from your side now?

    No, it still isn’t using Smush. I do see there are some errors in the browser console related to Smush scripts not loading. What optimization plugins are you using?

    Thanks for looking into it Anton.

    I use “Fast Velocity Minify” and “Async Javascript”.

    Any further advice on what I should do?

    @bkingids,

    I would start off by disabling all optimization to see if that might be affecting the lazy loading, as we’ve had some reports that combining JS files sometimes could lead to similar errors. I’m not sure how the above plugins are configured and how they work, but maybe you could try excluding the Smush lazy load scripts?

    Anton
