I get the following for Disqus:

We were unable to load Disqus. If you are a moderator please see our troubleshooting guide.

What do I need to do, to get Disqus to work? Do I need to install Disqus’ plugin?

No, if you install it, it will remove the social plugins. But I can’t find a way to solve the unable to load Disqus problem,too.
