Disable transactional syncing

    Hello,

    we would like to use this plugin to add customers (who give consent) to our mailing list. However we do not want to sync all other customer data to our audience as transactional, because we think this has privacy implications.

    Is there a way to turn off transactional syncing? Right now it seems that this can’t be disabled.

    Hi @cfwp, thanks for reaching out. At this time, there is not a way to disable the sending of transactional customers to your Audience in the plugin. We pass this information to your Mailchimp Audience so you can notify customers of order updates, invoices, or any other transactional type of messaging via the Mailchimp feature set.

    If you’d like, you can periodically remove these customers from your Mailchimp audience manually. Feel free to reach out to Mailchimp support if you have any further questions on how to facilitate: http://admin.mailchimp.com/support/woo-forum.
