This is a feature i have already built into Easy Modal v1.2 which is pending release. Although i feel it slightly unnecesary as version 1.2 also changed the modals to be responsive and therefore work on mobile screens.

Currently the option is a sitewide on off switch for mobile, but what i think im going to do is set it up to be a per modal option or better yet just an added class to the links that prevents them from opening on mobile if the class not-moble is detected etc.

Currently though there is no way in v1.1.9.9 and earlier other than to use some javascript to disable or unhook the modals from the links if it detects a mobile device.

Thanks for the reply. When is the 1.2 release scheduled?
