Disable Enqueuing Completely

    I know there’s filters to change the URL (ACFFA_get_fa_url) and to always enqueue the asset (ACFFA_always_enqueue_fa) but is there a way to never enqueue Font Awesome? It’s already being added elsewhere and I really just want the field.

    As long as you, in the field setting itself, don’t enable enqueueing it should not load any of the Font Awesome files in the frontend. Can you confirm you haven’t set that setting?

    Ah, that’s my mistake. I hadn’t reached that point yet.

    I had assumed that I needed to disable enqueueing from the beginning, so I was only looking at the general settings and the filter documentation. After adding a field, I see that it’s an option there.
