Can you provide me with a URL? Also, have you tried the options under Photonic → Settings → Generic Options → Slideshow settings → Slideshow Image Adjustment? I believe “Show whitespace to the side for narrower images” will give you images of the same height.

It looks like there is some conflict between Photonic and one of the plugins on your site (or your theme) – your images seem to be showing up a lot smaller than they are, and one of the slideshow attributes seems to be getting removed. Moreover when I resize the browser window the images become tiny (almost invisible). It is a little hard for me to say what is causing the conflict.
How many galleries from Google Photos are you planning to show? And in how many of them do you plan to use the slideshow layout?
If this is the only gallery and you have very few photos, you might want to consider adding the photos to your Media Library and using a regular slideshow plugin instead of Photonic. That might be easier than trying to troubleshoot the conflict.

A quick search for “slideshow” shows quite a few results: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/slideshow/. In looking through some of them it looks like MetaSlider is good. I haven’t personally used any of these, but for hosted photos most plugins are at roughly the same level – it comes down to what sort of visual effect you are looking to get.
