I just don’t know where you read the products would be moved to trash, plugin description only mentions Useful for developers who are importing products and want a tool to easily remove the products.
The main issue here is that the plugin did not follow standard practices of moving deleted content to a trash folder, which is a common feature in many applications. This lack of functionality makes it difficult to recover the lost data, especially if user does not have a backup in place.
