Thank you for reporting, the issue has been fixed, please delete the plugin and install the new version (v13.2.4.1) again.
I do have Version 13.2.4.1 and the error message persists…
“Here is an error associated with Connecting WordPress Rest API
Please Flushing rewrite rules or activate WordPress REST API for performance WP-Statistics Plugin Cache / Go Settings->Permalinks
Since this message appeared, no visits at all are recorded in my site.
I’m using WP 6.0.
I do have 3 recommended improvements:
“You should remove inactive plugins Security”
“Your site is running an older version of PHP (7.3.33), which should be updated”
“Not all recommended security headers are installed”
…my theme is UNCODE.
…and this are my plugins (all last version):
Admin Columns Pro
Akismet Anti-Spam
Better Search
Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order Version
Contact Form 7
Default Twitter Image for Yoast
Disable Gutenberg
Flamingo
Give – Donation Plugin
Random Post on Refresh
Really Simple SSL
TaxoPress
Uncode Core Version
Uncode WPBakery Page Builder
UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore
Wordfence Security
WP-Optimize – Clean, Compress, Cache
WP AutoTerms
WPBakery Page Builder Clipboard Version
WP Statistics
WP ULike
WP User Avatar
Yoast Duplicate Post
Yoast SEO
…all worked fine before the update.
For the record I moved from a VPS to a Shared Server but other sites work fine with the plugin’s last version.
@ign2009
Can you please check what do you see when you go to this URL?
/wp-json/wp-statistics/v2/hit
Hi there,
I see a JSON file like so:
code "rest_missing_callback_param"
message "Missing parameter(s): browser, platform, version, ip, track_all, timestamp, page_uri, user_id"
data
status 400
params
0 "browser"
1 "platform"
2 "version"
3 "ip"
4 "track_all"
5 "timestamp"
6 "page_uri"
7 "user_id"
What does it mean?
Thanks for your support!
@ign2009 It means the REST API endpoint has been registered successfully, so the question is why the admin side can’t see this endpoint and shows that notice.
This is what we’re currently working on.
