Error: Looks like your site is not allowed access to Google account data and can’t display stats in the dashboard. To fix this, redo the plugin setup.

If I try to redo, I get the Error: Bad request
    invalid parameter: ‘site_id’

Google Site Kit works fine on 5 other websites hosted on the same server…

Hi @raaaphster, thanks for getting in touch. I can see that you have had this issue in the past opening a support topic for the same issue. Let’s take another look at this if you are still having issues.

If you’re encountering an invalid parameter: ‘site_id' error, this means that something went wrong between your site and what we call the Site Kit service. If the redo plugin isn’t working for you as per this guide, you may need to perform a plugin reset.

Resetting Site Kit will disconnect any administrators from the plugin, and disconnect the modules and plugin configurations that administrators may have applied. As soon as you set up the plugin once more, the data that was displayed previously will appear once more.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above and if you still face the issue after this we can continue to look into this for you.

Hi @adamdunnage, yes, it was still the same problem. In the meantime, I had contacted the technical support of the hosting. However, they couldn’t help me either.

But! The reset did the trick! After the new setup, everything is now working perfectly. At last! And fortunately all the data was still recorded. Great!

Thank you for taking the time again.
