    Hi,

I’m not really looking for a vendor plugin, but I am looking for a registration of customer, and for them to list their own product. Is there functionality in place to change default registration and listing pages from ‘vendor’ to ‘customer’ or will this require template editing?

I’d also like to know if you support the same payment gateways as woocommerce, because I see on your funtionality list, you speak of Stripe payment gateway, however I’ll be using payfast which woocommerce already supports.

    Many thanks

  • Hello,
The “customer” role provided by WooCommerce and our “vendor” role actually provide different capabilities, so your users would still need to be given the “vendor” role to list products. However, you can change some of the terminology across the site by translating the term “vendor” to something else on the front-end.

Any WooCommerce compatible gateway can be used to collect customer payments. All customer payments in full will first be sent to the admin account. Vendor’s commission will be shown as “due” and admin can then manually pay the vendors their due commission using whatever schedule and method you wish.

Our Stripe Commission and Gateway plugin allows for vendors to connect their Stripe account to your admin Stripe account, and commission payments are automatically split at checkout, which admin’s commission going to the admin account, and then connected vendor’s commission being sent to their Stripe account.

    Thank you Anna,

I’d also like to know if it’s possible to list an item as an ‘ask’ for example, I want an Iphone X, so I list it for a price I’d like to pay for it ($150).

This is different to listing a product to sell, and I haven’t found any plugin that has this type of functionality. This would be good to cater for those who want a ‘bidding’ e-commerce store.

    Thanks,

    Sean
