I installed the custom field add-on, and I am trying to modify a ticket.

I created two custom fields of type taxonomy: “Topic” and “Release”.

I am on the edit ticket page:
    <my_sitename>/wordpress/wp-admin/post.php?post=65&action=edit

On the right side of the page, I see two menus (“Topic” and “Release”) that appear to be multi-picklist style (I can add more than one entry to these fields in the right-side menu).

When I start to type in one of my taxonomy entries, I see that the name auto-suggests entries starting with the letters I typed. I select the entry, “5.x” for Release. I click Add. The taxonomy is listed below the add blank. I click the “Update Ticket” button. This takes me back to the all tickets list. When I open this ticket again, it does not have “5.x” listed for Release. This is unexpected behavior.

I noticed that I am able to modify the Custom Fields from the Custom Field tab, in the middle of the modify Ticket display. When I click update ticket, the ticket does take the changes to those fields.

So it looks like the menus on the right side of the edit ticket page should be a read-only interface if they are not able to actually edit.

    Hi:

WordPress.org does not like it when we use these forums to support premium add-ons. Its only supposed to be used for the free add-on. Can you please open a ticket on our site? We’ll close this thread now so that we don’t get penalized.

    Thanks.
