    Hi @amanipe,

The capability needed to add a position to a player is “assign_sp_player_terms”.

You will also need “edit_sp_players” to add a new player, and “edit_published_sp_players” to edit existing players.

    Hope this helps πŸ™‚

    Hi Theme boy,

Thanks again for your quick help. That’s what I have.

On Google Chrome or IE (last version), I can select the position, but when I save, it disapear. What is very strange too is that it works well as admin.

Another question about your theme on your website. I’m thinking about buying it, even if I found it a little bit expensive, and want to know if it is compatible with page builder and if I need to go into a CSS file to custom colors and menu.

    Thanks

    Hi again!

It looks like only players and admin users are able to change player positions in the current version, but we’re releasing an update soon that improves user roles and capabilities.

Which user role are you logged in as when the position disappears?

Regarding the themes, Football Club is our old theme and is a standalone solution. Premier is our new theme, released earlier this month, and is designed exclusively for SportsPress. Both themes include color and customization options, so there is no need to edit any CSS files πŸ™‚

The player and the Captain role don’t work even when assign_sp_player_terms, edit_sp_players, edit_published_sp_players are on.

Regarding the theme, does it work with the plugin “Page Builder” ? Can you please give me a link to your new theme please ?

    Hi @amanipe,

Are you using a custom role plugin? Here is a full list of player related capabilities:
    ‘edit_sp_player’
    ‘read_sp_player’
    ‘delete_sp_player’
    ‘edit_sp_players’
    ‘publish_sp_players’
    ‘delete_sp_players’
    ‘delete_published_sp_players’
    ‘edit_published_sp_playe
    ‘assign_sp_player_terms’

The Premier theme will work with the Page Builder plugin, but you’ll need to add a couple lines of CSS to change the way the widgets look. We’ll definitely adjust the stylesheet for better compatibility with Page Builder in the next update to Premier.
