Currency ?

    Hello,

    On my site I have swedish coronas as currency (SEK) .

    However, I saw that the report in google says dollars.

    So I changed in GA > admin > view settings > currency to SEK ..

    However the amount did not change in the reports. 1 USD = 10 SEK approx. so instead of saying 1000 SEK it says 100 SEK.

    My question is:

    How is the currency reported to analytics?

    If I keep it like it is now, will maybe the next transaction be the correct amount in SEK?

    Does GA know what currency is used on my site?

    What are your recommendations?

    Hi Marcus,

    Thank you for contacting us!

    The effect of the changes you have made in your analytics account’s “View Settings” will only apply to the future transactions.

    It will not affect/change the historical data in your analytics account.

    So we request you to analyze the data for next couple of days & get back to us if you find anything.

    Everything comes in with the newly set currency.
