• Hello,

yesterday I changed my website domain through my hosting provider, but after this some problems occurred: the form margin doesn’t exist now and it doesn’t look pretty.

My Forminator form doesn’t have any custom style, i used the Default style, but i added a lot of custom CSS through the wordpress costumization (and it all works, i checked in my preload version).

The hosting support said me to contact you, explaining this:
Our preload technology is based on automatically replacing the website’s URL, switching from the original domain to the corresponding .preload.site domain. It is therefore plausible that the Forminator plugin, failing to recognise the original domain, does not apply its own customisation of the stylesheet and simply uses the plugin’s default CSS.
On the live site, however, Forminator operates normally, generating a custom stylesheet and loading it in place of the default one. It is precisely in this custom file that the different visual behaviour of the form is observed and, specifically, the absence of side margins.
The cause can be attributed to the plugin’s different handling of stylesheets in the two contexts.
We therefore suggest that you check, either in Forminator’s settings or with the help of the plugin developer, whether it is possible to force the use of the default stylesheet in the production environment as well; alternatively, you could manually edit the custom stylesheet generated by the plugin, adjusting the form’s margins to achieve the desired result.

    Hello @alessandro1106,

I hope things are going well for you.

Generally, changing domain URLs does not cause any CSS issues. However, please check the browser console for errors to see if something is failing to load.
You can follow the detailed steps here: https://developer.wordpress.org/advanced-administration/debug/debug-javascript/.

If you notice anything in red text, please share it with us so we can get a clear picture.

Additionally, Please share the form export with us so we can determine if we can replicate that behaviour.

    To share the form export
    – Navigate to the “Forminator -> Forms” page in your site’s back-end
    – click on a little “gear” icon next to the form in question
    – select “Export” option
    – copy given export code and paste it at https://pastebin.com
    – include link to that paste in your response below.

Note: this export will not include any data that is already submitted – they’ll stay safely on your site, and we don’t need them anyway.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Kind Regards,
    Imran Khan
