I have exactly same problem. All of widgets used in custom sidebar is not copying css properly.

This seems to be a theme specific issue.
Could you please try using default WordPress theme like Twenty Thirteen to check whether it works fine with it?

Mine did end up being theme related. I am using a commercial theme and there is other functionality the sidebar does that the custom sidebars plugin was conflicting with. Thanks for your replies!
