    Hey guys,

Been on the fence about subscribing as I’m really only interested in one plugin, PopUp. Almost took the plunge, just to get the PRO version, but then noticed a fun issue. The preview of the popup always looks perfect. However, when viewing live, the formatting is all messed up on first load. The image is cropped, boxes the wrong size, etc. The team suggested maybe it is a CSS conflict with the Avada theme I use, however, I don’t think it is, but am not 100% certain.

    1. If I refresh the page, the popup loads just fine. That indicates it’s not a style conflict, to me at least.
    2. If I open the Console and trace down the CSS, there is nothing being overwritten in the CSS for the PopUp.

Can anyway take a look at howtoproject.ca and let me know why this is happening? The image says “Help” but on first load it looks like “Hel”

  • Hi, I’m facing the same issue but with Salient theme, I can see you fixed the problem from your site… Any tips on how you did it? Might help a ton.. Thanks.. 🙂

No. The problem is not fixed at all. What happens is when you refresh, or go to another page, it loads fine. It’s the FIRST LOAD that is messed up.

    hello howtoproject & adzadzadz,

Can you try to change loading method in PopUp settings? if its Ajax, change it to Page Footer

From what I see there is some kind of delay with JS script that is calculating position of the image.
Let me know if changing method will help.

    kind regards,
    Kasia
