Critical Error after Plugin Update: TypeError: Cannot destructure property

    Description
    Since the latest update, the plugin is broken and displays a fatal error in the dashboard as well as when accessing the plugin directly.

    Cannot destructure property 'triggerTourForView' of '(0 , l.useDispatch)(...)' as it is null.
        in FeatureTours
        in RestoreSnapshots
        in ErrorHandler
        in ThemeProvider
        in StrictMode
        in Root

    Steps Taken
    Based on a forum post from another user five days ago experiencing the same issue, I attempted the following troubleshooting steps:

    • Completely deleted the plugin.
    • Re-uploaded and re-installed the plugin.

    Result
    The error persists. The re-installation did not resolve the issue.

    Environment

    • Plugin Version: 1.173.0
    • WordPress Version: 6.9.1

    Hi @topfra, thanks for sharing the information you have thus far on your issue. Sorry to hear the steps you have tried so far haven’t worked. Firstly, could you please try performing a Site Kit reset? You can do this by going to Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit. After resetting and setting the plugin back up, do you encounter the same issue? If yes, please could you share the information below:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. Any console errors you see when encountering this.
    3. Do you see the same when following the troubleshooting steps here?

    You could also try reverting back to the previous version of Site Kit to see if you see the same on this version. If you have any questions on the above then please let me know.
