I accidently deleted myself from my website while deleting spam accounts. I had to get a backup restored to correct this but now have an issue with Jetpack. Here is the message from Bluehost support:

Accessing the website “https://iknowmaths.com/” after restoration. I could see that the website shows ” There has been a critical error on this website.” Moving further checking the error logs, I see that

    #7 /home4/iknowmat/public_html/wp-blog-header.php(13): requi in /home4/iknowmat/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/jetpack_vendor/automattic/jetpack-sync/src/class-actions.php on line 753

As per error log I see that plugin “jetpack” is causing issues. As this is something related to configuration of the website the best advice would be to contact the jetpack plugin vendor or developer as I would say technical admins we can provide assistance on server-related issues only, we are not expertized in checking theme issues or website customization issues.

Hey @josephmaskell – if you have access to the WP Admin dashboard, then could you please try to uninstall and reinstall the fresh copy of the Jetpack plugin by going to WP Admin » Plugins » Add New section?

In case, you can’t access the WP Admin then please log in to your site via FTP or SFTP or cPanel > File Manager and go to the wp-content/plugins/ folder and delete the folder named jetpack.

    • If you are not sure how to log in to the site via FTP or SFTP or cPanel > File Manager, I would recommend approaching your hosting provider and they will help you log in.

Once done, your website will likely start working again, and you will be able to login to WordPress Admin. After logging in to WordPress Admin, reinstall the Jetpack plugin from WordPress Admin > Plugins > Add New, and install the fresh copy of the Jetpack plugin.
