    Unable to access my site!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Jetpack by WordPress.com.

    Error Details
    =============
An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 30 of the file /var/www/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/vendor/jetpack-autoloader/autoload_functions.php. Error message: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/var/www/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/packages/woocommerce-admin/src/Composer/Package.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/remi/php73/root/usr/share/pear:/opt/remi/php73/root/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php’)

    Any help appreciated.

  • We’re sorry to see this error happens on your site.

Based on the error itself, it seems that WooCommerce or Jetpack was not updated completely.

There are a number of reasons that an automatic update could fail. Jetpack/WooCoommerce is a large plugin, with many modules and language files. This can cause issues with some servers when using the automatic update.

Could you please try manually reinstalling Jetpack and WooCommerce? To do so, download the Jetpack plugin here:

    http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/jetpack.latest-stable.zip
    http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/woocommerce.latest-stable.zip

Then, log in to your site via FTP, and delete the existing Jetpack and WooCommerce plugin folders. You should then be able to reinstall the plugins manually by following the instructions here:

    Managing Plugins

I would strongly recommend that you make a complete backup of your website before trying this.

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any questions.

@htdat thank you for your reply. How do I log in via FTP? Can I backup the site via the FTP log in?

@htdat I contacted my hosting and they were able to disable all plugins for me but when I install the plugins back they crash the site again.
So the issue is with these new versions of the plugins.

    What now?

At this point, we’d like to have a look at your site to try to figure out what’s happening.

Could you contact us via this contact form and mention this thread?

Feel free to leave a reply here after you submit the form above.
