Correct, you can use the Web Stories block to embed stories in a post or page.
Basically, I do not want to use UI to create or add stories.
Were you referring to the Web Stories editor? Could you please clarify if you were looking for a front-end story editor?
Yes, to create a story. Any shortcode or block editor? Or can I get the text representation of the previously created so that I can reuse it instead of using Web Stories editor top create a new one.
While there are shortcodes and a block for embedding stories, there is no such thing for creating stories.
To create web stories, you’ll need to use the visual web story editor that’s part of the plugin.
In the future we may add functionality to make it easier to programmatically create stories (say, create a story from a blog post), but for now the visual editor is the way to got.
