The plugin uses a free api which has hit limit (5 API requests per minute; 500 API requests per day), they have premium api too https://www.alphavantage.co/premium/
Our plugin should work with free and premium both api, but our documentation has the free api related information.

Don’t have the option with free unlimited API? I was trying to put it on my site, if there is a lot of traffic the plugin will not work, correct?
@silviomc this plugin has caching feature. it caches for 30 mins. it uses transient caching which means this cache value works for other users until it expires. free api has no unlimited hits, no currency api has free unlimited. if you find one let us know we will integrate as soon as possible 🙂
