Content slider mixing categories

I have purchased Huge IT Portfolio which is a great portfolio gallery but now I have several portfolios, each with image in it but the gallery “Content slider” mixed photos from different portfolio together when displaying them.
I tried creating different categories and including the pictures by category but it doesn’t change anything, when clicking on a photo it then lists photos from other categories as well.
Do I do something wrong?
