• Contact form is easy to use, light and works great! Except for one little thing.

    When you get a contact like this…
    Name: A………
    Email: k……….
    Address: 3…….
    Phone Number: 6………….
    etc…

    I receive them via email which is great! The problem is when I hit ‘REPLY’ to reply to this contact form, it replies to me. (main email address of WP site)

    There needs to be a way to control ‘Reply to’ function so that when I hit reply, it replies to customer. Many times, I’ll reply just to notice I just sent myself a reply and I have to copy and paste message and their email address from the form just so that I can reply them.

    While it is possible to manually go around this, I’d love it if this can be fixed.

    Jetpack’s Contact form actually adds a Reply-To header to the email, using the email address from the Email field in the contact form. I’m not sure why that’s not working on your end. Could you double check the form you created and make sure the email field uses the “Email” type?

    If that’s already the case, could you check the email headers of one of the emails you received, and see if it includes the Reply-To header? You can follow the instructions here to examine email headers;

    That’s weird indeed.

    Could you try to use a different email client, and see if you get the same issue?
