    Hello team,

The company does not use the plugin anymore. I try to clean up the database. When I search for ‘testimonials’, this is what I find in the wp_options:

    wp_user_roles
    widget_strong-testimonials-view-widget
    strong-testimonials-rate-time
    wpmtst_form_options
    wpmtst_view_default
    strong_testimonials_wisdom_notification_times
    strong_testimonials_wisdom_block_notice
    activate_plugins
    eael_save_settings

wp_user_roles (What would be your advise to remove the plugin generated user roles?)

These ones I think I can safely remove?
    widget_strong-testimonials-view-widget
    strong-testimonials-rate-time
    wpmtst_form_options
    wpmtst_view_default
    strong_testimonials_wisdom_notification_times
    strong_testimonials_wisdom_block_notice

Has the plugin made changes to these two that made them show up? Can I undo the changes?
    activate_plugins
    eael_save_settings

I think this one found in wp_yoast_seo_links is safe to remove?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

    Best regards,

    Victor

  • Hey @victor307 ,

I suggest you use the plugin’s Uninstall functionality, it will remove all the data you don’t want. If you have deleted the plugin you can install it, activate it and hit the Uninstall button found in the plugin’s action links ( dashboard > Plugins > Strong Testimonials > Uninstall ).

    Hope this helps.
    Warmly,
    Razvan

    Hi @raldea89

Thanks a lot for your reply.
That function is exactly what I was looking for.
I did what you advised me.

Still I find in the database wp_options:
    strong_testimonials_wisdom_notification_times > autoloaded
    strong_testimonials_wisdom_block_notice > autoloaded

Shall I remove manually these two?

    Hello,

    Glad to be of help!

Sure, you can go ahead and remove them if not needed. I will also add a ticket to add those entries in the uninstall process, thank you for the info.

    Warmly,
    Razvan

    Hello @raldea89

Thanks for your quick reply. I have deleted them as well.

Do you think I can manually remove this one in the wp_yoast_seo_links?

Hm….that’s not from our plugin so I really don’t know what deleting that does to your website. The URL seems to point to our plugin but don’t know what that means, sorry.

This is the end of the URL: wp-content/plugins/strong-testimonials/public/svg/spinner-solid.svg.
But I do understand that this must be something from the Yoast plugin.

Would you please allow me to ask my last question:
Do you know why these 3 still show up in the wp_options when searching for ‘testimonials’?
    wp_user_roles
    activate_plugins
    eael_save_settings

Honestly I don’t know, my best guess is that something in there contains the word testimonials. This may or may not be relevant to our plugin, can’t really tell, sorry.

    Warmly,
    Razvan
