Compatible with drop down & custom fields?
-
Hi
It hits me when I search the plugin directory. I tried a few options but none of them works with dropdown and custom fields.
If it is not compatible, will you plan to add the feature and when will it be released? Thank you so much.

Hi Robert,
You are correct, currently the solution only captures default WooCommerce fields but it should be more than enough to get in touch with the user about an abandoned cart.
However if you would like that also the custom and dropdown fields would be remembered then I would appreciate if you could give me an example of such checkout form so that I could be able to get a better understanding of the required feature and understand if this could be included.
Kind regards
Hi @@streamlinestar
Sorry for my late reply. No notification email came in somehow.
For example, I have city, state and zipcode dropdown fields on checkout. Dropdown are better for fast checkout.
Here is the code I used to capture these dropdown fields but it cause some problem somehow and I still working on it. Look forward to your advice. Thanks.
Another issue is the loading captured data is a bit slow when customers come back to checkout page.
Hey @robert1112,
Thanks for getting back. Would you mind sharing a link to your shop so that I could see those dropdown fields in live action? It would really help me to get a better understanding.
If you have modified default WooCommerce city, zip code and other fields into dropdown fields then I am afraid for now we are not able to support such solution. However we will add it to our feature wish-list and see if in the future we can add support for that.
Right now we are working on a new feature that could capture all abandoned carts even before checkout.Kind thanks
Hi @ streamlinestar
Here is the link.Thank you for your support.
Hey @robert1112,
Thanks for the link. Please send to my email username and password so that I can get to see your project.
Looks like currently just registered users are allowed to see it.Best
Where should I sent to? I look around but didnt see your email address. Thanks.
Hey, please use the contact form on our website for that.
https://majas-lapu-izstrade.lv/woocommerce-save-abandoned-carts-pro/get-premium-support/Hi Just sent. Thank you.
Thanks, I just checked out the checkout form and did a couple of tests.
What I would suggest you to try out is to try this once again on a clean WordPress installation without any plugins and then check if the drop down fields get reset?Because I can see that after page refresh drop down fields stay the same as before but in a couple of seconds they get reset back to the default fields.
This might be related to other plugins you have setup or some additional code that you have added on your website. And what is the plugin you are using to create dropdown fields in Checkout form?
I also noticed the lagging. Here is the script in fucntion.php.
Thanks.
Hey Robert,
Thanks for the additional script.
It looks way too much for me to test it out but I would suggest you do the following – remove all plugins except WooCommerce and our product and then test the Checkout again.
See if the same lagging happens then because right now it seems that you have some other plugin that is causing it.Best
Unfortunately, still not solved. Thank you anyway.
Nice and clean plugin, really like it!
Hmm,
What kind of plugin are you using to turn WooCommerce default Checkout fields from simple text input fields to dropdown fields?
I could try to install it on my testing environment and see what happens. Thanks
This goes to function.php. Dont forget enable Taiwan country for shopping. π
Thanks for your help.
