    Even though I am not allowing comments in Settings > Discussion, I can seeing allowing comments is enabled when I edit a post and look at it on the backend.

    I don’t know if it’s your plugin that is over-riding this, but I can’t find anything else that would over-ride it. I don’t see any options in the settings for your plugin otherwise. Could you let me know if your plugin would cause comments to be enabled even though they are turned off in Settings > Discussion?

    I just checked and you’re right, the plugin is actually overriding the default behavior. Thanks for letting me know. I’ll fix this in the next version.

    No problem. BTW if you want this fixed urgently, you can try the premium version. I just checked and it doesn’t seem to have this bug.
