Choose a gift (only 1)

    Hi, thanks for the great plugin, easy to use and actually working (I had to do with paid plugins not working).

    I need to let the user choose wich gift to obtain, and let him obtain only one of them.
    I’ll explain the case:

    • gift1: from 100$
    • gift2: from 200$
    • gift3: from 300$

    I can’t let the client leave the cart with 3 gifts! Instead i want to let him choose one of the 3.
    Is it possible and I’m missing some options?

    Hi @oramweb, did you try to create 3 different Gift categories ?

    Gift category 1 (Amount condition min 0, max 100)
    Gift category 2 (Amount condition min 101, max 200)
    Gift category 3 (Amount condition min 201, max 300)

    *also note that every gift category has a “Number of gifts allowed” field, you can add 100 gifts to that condition, but user can select only 1 if Number of gifts allowed is 1)

    Thanks for the super fast answer.
    Actually I’ve tryed to limit the max.
    The fact is I want to allow the client to select the past “level” gift even if he met the prerequisite for the level two or three gift.

    It will not be the standard client’s behavior…but you never know.

    I think that your user case isnt covered with Giftable, but feel free to experiment.

    If your gifts are unique (they are just gifts not products),
    you can create 3 Categories like this:
    1. Category for min 0 max 100 (cat1 gifts)
    2. Category for min 101 max 200 (*clone gifts cat1 + cat2 gifts)
    3. Category for min 201 max 300 (*clone cat1 and cat2 gifts + cat3 gifts)

    Thanks, we have made a cascade style category gift, and it works really well as it is.

    For future updates (or pro version) what do you think about something like this?

    It will be awesome.

    They give the opportunity to show you how many gifts you can achieve, the value of the gift (wich is really important too) and the chance to get only one per purchase/cart (more chance for a returning customer/more chance to please different client types).

    I started looking around for a plugin like yours just after seeing their website!
