How do I set up conditions for my gifts?

Conditions are added to gift categories (Products -> Gift categories). There you can add new gift categories or edit any existing one. Just click the category to open it in a new editing screen, and add/edit/remove any possible combination of conditions for your gifts. When you have your gift categories ready, you can assign any giftable product to that gift category.

How do I assign a gift category to a gift?

On the ‘Product data’ meta box in the product editing screen, you can mark any existing WooCommerce product as ‘Giftable’, or add new products and select ‘Gift’ as product type. You will then see a new product options tab called ‘Gift options’, where you can select and assign Gift categories for a gift or a giftable product. Gifts and giftable products unassigned to at least one enabled Gift category will not be available to customers.

Can I hide product tabs for gifts?

There is a ‘Show tabs’ options for each gift on the Edit product screen ‘Gift option’ tab, and it’s disabled by default.

Can I change the gift box and buttons titles?

Yes. You can do that on the Gifts settings tab (WooCommerce -> Settings -> Gifts). You’ll find a number of other useful settings on that page too.

Does it work with variable products?

Yes. (Since version 0.9.4). You can mark any variable products as giftable, or only a number of its specific variations. If a variable product is marked as giftable, all of its variations will be available as gifts (within the Gift categories assigned). If the product is not marked as giftable, but some of its variations are, only those variations will be offered.

Does it work with WPML?

Yes. You will need to translate all gift categories, gifts and giftable products and set them up in each language sepparately though.

Does it work in a multi-currency setup?

Yes. For now the plugin integrates well with WooCommerce Multilingual multi-currency feature, and the Aelia Currency Switcher plugin.

Why is this plugin free?

This plugin is completely free, and will remain so. We make enough money developing custom solutions for WordPress and WooCommerce, and this is our way to give back to the community.

Really good plugin!

I spent ages looking for a plugin (and tried 3 other plugins already) that would allow me to add a free product to the cart, when 3 or more products are already in the cart.

This plugin is free, works really well and I’m very pleased – I wish I had found it earlier!!

Awesome, But..

I really like this plugin.
but its need more ways to remind users to pick their gift.
for example, if someone going to checkout page by directly, will never known there is any gifts!
I think the best way is a floating panel to suggest gifts in all pages if buyers reach the conditions.
please do it and complete you nice work!

Easy to set up

Hi there!

I am a total CSS-idiot. But I needed a Gift Plugin that was easy to set up and had a beautiful POPUP. My shop is running with woocommerce / IMPREZA and no extra Shop Theme.
First I bought: PW Woocommerce Advanced Gift Rules – but the support worked on my page with ftp-access for over one day and could not get the POPUP to show. The support told me I should ask for a refund.
Then I turned to MULTIPLE FREE GIFTS ==> this did work, but the POPUP looked dull and we had problems with the gifts not removing after the gift criteria were not met any longer PLUS sometimes, if the customer hits refresh, the gift was added to the cart twice by itself. We were able to reproduce this problem, but did not receive any support….
Then we turned to:
WooCommerce Dynamic Pricing & Discounts ==> this is a very powerful plugin with lots of possibilities, but not very intutive in setting up the gift rules for a noob like me. And unfortunately they did not have a POPUP installed, so the customer never knows, that he might have hit a gift criteria. We tried to compensate this with an extra popup by “PopUpMaker”. But many customers just closed the popup (as we all do, when a popup pops up) and as we set the trigger cookie to only show the popup once to avoid annoying the customer, many checked out without a free gift and then claimed it via Email or in the social media, when they read about the free gifts in our social media or newsletter or somewhere else…. A lot of extra work and shipping fees….
And now we have insatlled “GIFTABLE for WOOCOMMERCE”. This Plugin is too good to be true. I have been able to set up simple gift rules in the backend and everything is intuative and easy to understand. The fact, that it is for free is nice, but we would have bought it aswell, as I think, that good work should be rewarded and (unfortunately?) the best reward in our days is money. So all I can do tto compensate the fact, that I did not pay for this plugin is leaving a five-star-feedback in return. If anyone thinks about installing any of the other plugins for free gifts instead of this one, please read my feedback (the first I have left so far) above. This Plugin can do everything the others can PLUS it looks better in the Front- and Backend PLUS it is more easy to set up PLUS (sofar) it does not produce problems with not matching the gift criteria or adding additional free gifts without cause.

Hope this helps!

Keep up the good work!

Almost perfect!

Very well done guys!

The plugin seems to work very good. At least when the user stops to match the gift conditions the gift doesn’t remain the cart, as others gifts plugins (ehem ehem… Woocommerce Multiple Free Gift)

There is only one missing that would become the perfect plugin for gifts and is this: Please add the option that when there is only 1 gift configured, the gift is automatically added to the user’s cart when he reaches the gift conditions.

In terms of User Experience this will be awesome.
