I switch to the native tutor checkout via stripe and have been throughly disappointed by the lack of attention to detail.
During guest checkout, the login button for “already have an account” doesn’t work. Next, it is so unclear that an account is being created – users HAVE to know this. Additionally, if you use an email address that is already registered during guest checkout, the checkout will simply not proceed. But there is no alert message stating what the issue is, so users think it’s broken – as they should.
So now I’m in this position where I need to manually enroll people – who had started the guest checkout process and unknowingly created an account, but didn’t complete the stripe checkout – and now I must send them a password reset.Luckily I have the pro version, but the password reset is equally fragile – after solving the cacheing issue that wouldn’t allow the password reset to work at all, I am not troubleshooting the missing error / alert messages for password mismatch.
It is all beyond frustrating. Does anybody test this stuff? Are these messages simply not built in, or could it be something else?
