Changing Font

Hi, I’m banging my head against a wall with this as there’s just so much info out there – none of which has been helpful.

I want to change the font – or at least add a font option to the whole site so I went into the style.css file in my child theme but it doesn’t have any code in there. I’m supposed to add the custom font to the font section but obviously there isn’t one. All the code is there in the standard Kale theme. The font I have is a custom font I bought.

I also wanted to add some PHP to add an Amazon Affiliate geo link widget but I’m not sure where to add it since the child theme doesn’t seem to be storing data there? Thanks
